Serdang Bedagai - Field data collection for the 2024 UTP Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) has begun, including in Serdang Bedagai Regency, marking an important moment in efforts to collect accurate and in-depth data on the condition of the agricultural sector in this region. Through this survey, BPS is trying to get a comprehensive picture of various aspects of agriculture, starting from production, distribution, to the technology used by farmers in Serdang Bedagai Regency.
The data collection process involves officers going directly to the field to interact with farmers, ranchers, fishermen and other stakeholders. They are dedicated to ensuring any information collected truly reflects the actual situation. This data is very important as a basis for formulating agricultural development policies and strategies that are more targeted, sustainable, and can improve the welfare of farmers in Serdang Bedagai Regency.
The number of samples for the 2024 SEP-UTP data collection in Serdang Bedagai Regency is 660 households spread across all sub-districts. The data collection involved 14 field enumerators (PCL) and 5 field supervisors (PML).
Support and active participation from the entire community of Serdang Bedagai Regency is very necessary for the success of this data collection. By providing accurate and honest information, it is concrete evidence that the community is contributing to building a better and more competitive agricultural sector.
