GROUP DISCUSSION FORUM (FGD) REGIONAL PUBLICATIONS IN FIGURES 2024

In order to prepare the publication Serdang Bedagai Regency in Figures 2024, BPS Serdang Bedagai Regency through the IPDS Team carried out a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activity on Regional Data in Figures (DDA) for 2024. This FGD activity aims to finalize the data compiled by data producers at the level area to avoid errors or data out-of-synchronization in the future.

The FGD was held on Thursday, February 22 2024, in the Sultan Serdang Hall of BPS Serdang Bedagai Regency, and was attended by representatives from OPDs throughout Serdang Bedagai Regency or all data producers whose data will be published in the publication Serdang Bedagai Regency in Figures 2024. Data producers include are the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) of the Serdang Bedagai Regency Government, BUMN and BUMD companies of Serdang Bedagai Regency and vertical agencies. Before the FGD was carried out, the Assistant for General Administration of Seerdang Bedagai Regional Secretariat, Ir. H. Kaharuddin, MM, gave directions and officially opened the FGD activities.

This FGD activity was guided by the Regent's Expert Staff for Legal and Political Government of the Sergai Regency Government, Drs. Zulfiqar. Apart from the DDA FGD activity, there were 3 (three) resource persons from Bappeda, Kominfo and BPS as well as facilitators who guided the FGD, the data producers were also accompanied by appointed Serdang Bedagai Regency BPS employees.

FGD activities are carried out by confirming the data that has been input into the draft publication to the data producer. During this confirmation, a discussion was also held between the participants and the FGD guide. By implementing the 2024 DDA Data FGD, it is hoped that it will produce quality sectoral data.

The publication of Serdang Bedagai Regency in Figures is a superior product from BPS Serdang Bedagai Regency which has become a promise and commitment of BPS Serdang Bedagai Regency to the entire community. This promise and commitment is stated in the Advance Release Calendar (ARC) on the BPS Serdang Bedagai Regency website. By carrying out this FGD, it is hoped that the publication of Serdang Bedagai Regency in Figures 2024 can be published on time on 28 February 2024, as in the ARC on the BPS Serdang Bedagai Regency website.
