Abstract

· NTP is one of the indicators to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange rate (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
· In August 2024, the NTP of North Sumatra Province (2018=100) was recorded at 136.68 or an increase of 1.83 percent compared to the NTP in July 2024, which was 134.23.
