Abstract
· The poverty rate for Serdang Bedagai Regency has decreased by 0.47 points, namely from 7.44 percent in March 2023 to 6.97 percent in March 2024. This poverty rate is equivalent to 48.22 thousand people in March 2023, or a decrease of 2.88 thousand lives in the past year.
· The poverty rate in Serdang Bedagai Regency has always decreased over the last four years, namely since 2021.
· The Poverty Line in March 2024 was recorded at IDR. 518,209 per capita per month, an increase of 2.83 percent compared to March 2023.
· However, in the period March 2023-March 2024, both the Poverty Depth Index (P1) and the Poverty Severity Index (P2) experienced an increase. P1 rose from 0.89 in March 2023 to 1.11 in March 2024 and P2 also rose from 0.21 in March 2023 to 0.28 in March 2024.
