Survey On Semester I National Working Update 2018

The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) is a continuous survey activity conducted by BPS. Sakernas aims to obtain estimates of data on the number of working population, number of unemployed, and other employment indicators as well as their development at the provincial and national levels. The enumeration of Sakernas in the first semester of 2018 was held on February 8-28, 2018, with 110 respondents.Sakernas enumerators conducted face-to-face interviews with respondents spread across eleven blocks of the Serdang Bedagai Regency working area census.

Supervisors and enumerators have also conducted previous training to strengthen the concepts and definitions used in the enumeration. This training is expected to enable enumerators to perform tasks well in the field so that the resulting data as it is and the results can be used for policy formulation, both at the central and regional levels.
